Pinewoods at the Hillsborough Holiday Parade 2024: A Fun and Festive Day

On Sunday, December 8th, Pinewoods had the pleasure of participating in the annual “Light up the Night” Holiday Parade in Downtown Hillsborough. It was a magical evening filled with holiday cheer, community spirit, and plenty of fun!

While waiting for the parade to start, the children had a wonderful time playing and running around in a spacious green area, making the most of the time before our big moment. We also had a variety of snacks to keep everyone fueled and happy throughout the event.

A special thanks goes to the members of our Community Care Committee and their children, who put in so much effort to decorate and light up our float. It looked absolutely beautiful, and we couldn’t have pulled this off without them!

Many of our participants were dressed as gingerbread people or wore Pinewoods gear to represent our school. It was a sight to see! 🙂

We were proud to walk with such a vibrant and enthusiastic group of Pinewoods families. It was a great way to celebrate the season and show our love for the Pinewoods community. We saw many Pinewoods families and Pinewoods Guides on the streets cheering us on – thank you for your support!!

Be sure to check out some of the fun moments from the parade in the photos below.
