Young Children's Community (YCC)
YCC Camp will be a continuation of the school year curriculum, as that is what is developmentally appropriate for the children at this age.

Elementary
World Holidays:
Join Ms. Brittany, a passionate Pinewoods Lower Elementary teacher, for an exciting “Holidays Around the World” summer camp! This fun-filled camp offers kids a chance to explore diverse global celebrations through crafts, dance, storytelling, and even making traditional treats. Campers will develop an appreciation for cultural traditions, enhance their creativity, and build teamwork skills while fostering global awareness and empathy. Creative Writing:
Unleash your creativity at our Creative Writing Camp! Led by Mars Shea, a Pinewoods Assistant Guide and a lifelong writer with expertise in poetry, fiction, journaling, and playwriting, students will explore different writing styles through engaging prompts and fun activities. Collaborate with fellow writers in a supportive, inspiring environment and watch your skills soar!
Story Books:
Join us for Storybook Camp, where imagination comes to life! Led by Ms. Kelly, a passionate Upper Elementary Lead teacher at Pinewoods, this camp invites young writers to create their own enchanting stories. Young Children's Community (YCC)
YCC Camp will also be run for the above listed 6 weeks of summer camp. There will be no camp themes this year as it will be a continuation of the school year curriculum, as that is what is developmentally appropriate for the children at this age. However, we’ll have some extra outside summer fun time during summer camp!

Our summer camps run from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM for all program levels.
If your child ends the 2024-2025 school year in YCC, you should enroll your child in the YCC summer camps in order to facilitate the smoothest transition into Primary during the next school year. If your child is a rising 1st grader, they may enroll in either the Primary or Elementary Summer Camp. If your child is in Lower or Upper Elementary, please enroll your child in the Elementary Summer Camps.
Yes, absolutely! If your child is a Pinewoods alumni, please email the Summer Program Director, Andrew Cohen at andrew.cohen@pinewoodsmontessori.com in order to complete registration.
If your child is in Lower or Upper Elementary, they have the option to “Invite a Friend” to enroll in camp with them. If you have a friend who is interested in enrolling in one of our camps, please have them email the Summer Program Director, Andrew Cohen at andrew.cohen@pinewoodsmontessori.com in order to complete registration.
You will be billed via your FACTS account upon completion of registration.
The remaining tuition balance will be due on May 1, 2025.
